Driving change through advocacy
Divya Vaibhav Gaikwad (MA, MBA) is a dedicated civic leader and former Corporator of Ward 64 – Vashi, Navi Mumbai. With a strong academic foundation in Master of Arts and Master of Business Administration, she brings strategic thinking, community understanding and administrative clarity to her public work. Before entering active politics, Divya spent over 15 years as an educationist, shaping young minds and contributing to social development at the grassroots level.
Elected with a strong public mandate, she served Vashi by focusing on clean civic infrastructure, safer public spaces, parks and garden development, senior-citizen welfare, and resident-first governance. During her tenure, she worked closely with NMMC committees, including the City & Garden Development Committee, playing a key role in public-amenity improvements.
