About Me
Divya Vaibhav Gaikwad (MA, MBA) is an elected Corporator representing Ward No. 17, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), committed to community development, responsive governance and improving the quality of life for residents.
With a strong academic foundation in Master of Arts and Master of Business Administration, she brings strategic thinking, administrative understanding and a people-first approach to public service.
Before entering active politics, Divya spent over 15 years as an educationist, shaping young minds and contributing to social development at the grassroots level. Her experience in education and community engagement continues to shape her approach to civic leadership.
As a corporator, her priorities include improving civic infrastructure, developing parks and gardens, promoting safer public spaces, supporting senior citizens and addressing residents’ everyday concerns. Her previous work with NMMC committees, including the City & Garden Development Committee, reflects her engagement with public amenities and community development.
