Our ward’s gardens are important community spaces for children, seniors, walkers, and families. To ensure they remain clean, safe, and beautifully maintained, a follow-up meeting was held with the NMMC Garden Department, and the beautification work has now begun across all gardens in our area.

Beautification & Maintenance Work In Progress
The garden teams have started carrying out essential upkeep activities, including:
- Trimming and shaping hedges
- Raking and clearing dried leaves
- Removing weeds from flower beds
- Mixing soil with organic compost
- Mowing the lawn for a cleaner look
- Planting fresh flowering plants to brighten the space
These efforts are being implemented across all gardens in our ward, ensuring every space looks clean, green, and welcoming for residents.

Purpose of the Drive
Regular maintenance not only improves the look and feel of our gardens but also enhances safety, hygiene, and the overall experience for the community. A well-maintained garden inspires families to spend more time outdoors and encourages children to stay active.
