Ensuring safe and walkable footpaths is essential for residents, especially senior citizens, children, and daily commuters. Recently, uneven and damaged patches were observed across footpaths from Sector 3 to Sector 8, Vashi.
Action Taken
The issue was immediately brought to the notice of the NMMC Engineering Department, and a formal request was submitted for repairs across all affected locations.
Work in Progress
NMMC has now started the repair and leveling work on these uneven footpaths. The damaged sections are being fixed sector-wise to ensure smooth pedestrian movement and improved safety.
