The festive spirit lit up Vashi as the Divya Vaibhav Gaikwad Foundation presented its much-awaited One-Day Diwali Festival Fair on 4th November 2023 at the Rotary Club Hall, Sector 6. The event, held from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm, brought together families, entrepreneurs, and community members for an evening filled with joy, culture, and Diwali celebrations.
A special highlight of the mela was the free stall provision for women entrepreneurs, encouraging local talent and supporting small businesses led by women. With free entry for all, the event created an inclusive and lively platform where residents could shop, celebrate, and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Organised by Divya Vaibhav Gaikwad, Ex-Corporator of Vashi, and supported by the Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai, the Diwali Mela showcased handmade products, festive décor, food stalls, activities, and lucky draw prizes—making it a memorable community gathering ahead of the festival of lights.
This initiative reflects the foundation’s commitment to empowering women, promoting local entrepreneurship, and strengthening community bonds through cultural celebrations.
