Elected as Corporator of Ward 64, Vashi, beginning a people-first approach to local governance.
  • 2016–2018 — Building Community Spaces
Initiated and monitored improvements to parks and public gardens; started open-air fitness installations and safety upgrades for neighbourhood play areas.
  • 2019 — Major Infrastructure Proposal Approved
Pushed the long-term flood-mitigation proposal through the NMMC general body, starting the formal process for a strategic storm-water infrastructure upgrade. (Note: follow-ups and approvals continued in subsequent years.)
  • 2020–2022 — Persistence Through Disruptions
Kept up regular follow-ups with municipal departments despite pandemic delays — ensuring projects and tenders did not stall and citizen needs remained in focus.
  • 2023 — Local Civic Improvements & Cleanliness Drives
Led footpath and street repairs, sanitation pushes and coordinated with NMMC for garden upkeep and regular maintenance across sectors.
  • 2024 — Parks & Playgrounds Delivered
Completed installation of new play equipment and safety surfacing at key civic gardens in Vashi, responding to long-pending resident requests.
  • 2024–2025 — Welfare, Inclusion & Environment
Organised senior-citizen camps, inclusion activities for differently-abled children, and environmental drives including World Sparrow Day campaigns and tree-planting across the ward.
  • 2025 — Critical Clearances & Project Momentum
Secured necessary technical and legal clearances for long-standing infrastructure work; with approvals in place, on-site work for priority projects moved forward. (Project timelines and technical approvals were completed in stages.)
  • Ongoing — Citizen Advocacy & Immediate Response
Persistent representation on resident concerns (e.g., objections to service relocations and utility decisions), regular field visits, and rapid escalation to departmental heads to protect convenience and safety for citizens.
