Safe and well-maintained footpaths are crucial for pedestrians, especially senior citizens, children, and daily commuters. Responding to the concerns raised by residents, Divya Vaibhav Gaikwad coordinated with NMMC officials to initiate the repair of damaged footpaths and replacement of broken covers in Sector 8, Vashi.
The work is now in progress and will soon be carried out in other sectors wherever similar repairs are required. These improvements will enhance pedestrian safety, reduce accident risks, and contribute to cleaner, more accessible neighbourhood pathways.
Divya Gaikwad expressed her appreciation to NMMC for their timely action and reiterated her commitment to ensuring better civic amenities for all.
