Taking Action for Public Health & Cleanliness: Initiative by Divya Vaibhav Gaikwad

Addressing a matter of public concern, Divya Vaibhav Gaikwad met with the Medical Superintendent of the Employees’ State Insurance Scheme (ESIS) Hospital, Sector 5, Vashi, to highlight the neglected condition of the hospital plot located in Sector 4. The site currently faces multiple issues, including a broken compound wall, damaged gate, overgrown grass, and large trees that require immediate trimming—raising serious concerns about safety and hygiene in the surrounding area.

Divya Vaibhav Gaikwad emphasized that the open and poorly maintained condition of the plot has unfortunately led to misuse by passersby, resulting in unhygienic practices such as open urination. Such conditions not only affect the cleanliness of the locality but also pose potential health risks to residents. By bringing this issue directly to the concerned authorities, she has taken a proactive step toward ensuring that public spaces, especially those linked to healthcare facilities, are maintained with responsibility and care.

She has assured that continuous follow-up will be carried out until necessary corrective actions are implemented. This initiative reflects her strong commitment to safeguarding public health, improving civic conditions, and ensuring that neglected spaces are restored to a safe and hygienic state for the community.
